Oh, blogger.

Okay, I'm really back this time. I need to dip my hand back into this pool of REAL blogging. Not updating statuses, not tweeting, not "blogging" (looking at you, Tumblr) but actual blogging. We'll start with the encounter I had on Friday.

I went into Target to get a few things. I just threw on some random clothes &I was plain-faced but my hair had a little flip to it because I put curlers in it the night before. It looked pretty cute actually. Anyway, all I got was stuff to make sandwiches and then some random makeup products that I had been wanting. My cashier was ringing it up and the food was first so he got that; then the other stuff was kind of separated so he had to ask me if it was mine &I said yes. Then he’s like “you don’t need this stuff” and I just laughed; he said it so matter-of-factly that I thought he was making a joke of some kind. But then he’s like “you’re beautiful, man.” His tone of voice was something like he wished he had a girl like me. And I was like “thank youuu :DDDD” But I was also caught off guard because he seemed like the type of cashier that hates his job/doesn’t wanna engage customers more than he has to.

He low AND highkey totally pumped my head up/completely made my day. Genuine compliments without ulterior motives make me so happy.
